Prior to June 24, 1996 Full time Sports Talk Radio didn’t exist in Des Moines; That morning a new radio format was born in Central Iowa as Ken and his cohost began talking sports, something that he has done ever since. Originally from Canada, he came to Iowa in 1989 to become the race caller at Prairie Meadows. Of the 5,000 plus days he’s been on the air, sadly the one he remembers most is being on the air on the morning of September 11, 2001.
Ken and his wife Cindy reside in Ankeny.
