Ted Cruz is leading Republicans in the latest Iowa presidential poll by the Des Moines Register.  Cruz has 31 percent support among likely GOP voters – ten percent more than Donald Trump.

Pouring rain over the weekend forced the Clive Greenbelt and Trail system to close.  The National Weather Service says Walnut Creek could crest up to ten-and-a-half feet at I-35.
